Our project is ambitious: we want to connect the North with the South.

We want to bring the taste of Italian cuisine not only to the tables of the best Dutch restaurants, on the shelves of the shops of the sector, on the breakfast banquets of the main hotels but, above all, to the houses of all the people who want to taste and touch the Mediterranean, its food, its history and its philosophy.

What’s new in this project? A lot of people do it already, you would say.

Actually, It is completely innovative. Firstly, Sood is a research platform: we are not interested in the big brand that already controls international markets, we are not interested in the winery that has already made its wine known in the world.

We research, we connect, and bring the niche to everyone.

The unknown small business owner who has been producing his product for generations, in small quantities. Following the ancient and traditional production processes. And maybe with new ideas.

The originality is that we don’t just want to market. We want to build bridges between different cultures. A recipe is not just a meal, it is a piece of history. This is a story to be savoured, but also to be told.

For this reason Sood furnishes with the products an ambitious editorial project that is able to give an account of that history.
