POMOPOP – Antico pomodoro di Napoli 530g

Authentic San Marzano peeled tomatoes, with unique and inimitable flavor and taste, so delicious, in a 800 gr. can, just like they were packed in the early ‘900 in the Agro Nocerino Sarnese. Pomopop was born from an idea of the chef Mario Avallone, the same that told us the story of the product: the idea of creating these tomatoes in can was born from an encounter.
Some years ago, the chef was looking for herbs and vegetables in Lavorate di Sarno with the Montoro family, in particular with Dario. That was him who let Mario Avallone try his tomatotes. The thing that hit him the most was the love and passion that the whole Montoro family put in this cultivation, maintaining the authenticity and the tradition of their land. Then Mario Avallone goes on with the story: “With them, I took care of the picking, the treatment and the preparation of the juice made with the same tomatoes. Since 2013 we do this treatment that we improve more and more. I’m satisfied and this year these tomatoes have a superior taste than the expectations we have imagined”.
